Very nice local motel with a view. Just a few minutes from the "reversing falls" and the heart of the city. Nice location. No "amenities" and double bed not quite long enough for someone 6'6". But very nice people, place and location.
There was a view of the ocean and a comfortable queen sized bed. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV. Only 10 minutes or less from downtown. Nice guy at the front desk.
Good budget motel for traveller hot shower is all u need. bathroom tile floor might be lil cold in winter, wear something before bedtime
I really liked staying here. We stayed here for 2 days and had no complaints regarding anything. Kashish is really helpful. The service was great and we were provided with everything we asked for. The prices are reasonable too. The room and washroom were clean and tidy. So, if you are looking for a reasonable and great service with clean room, you must try it. Kashish is doing great job :)
For the price it's perfect! 4 stars only cause I wanted to sleep in my sleeping bag. Hahaha The kitchen was awesome. The broken window charm was strong. Great for the price. Stay here ya know you wanna.
We spent the night there. It's a standard motel. The owners are very nice people. We don't really have any complaints, we spent the night comfortably.
Amazing service for the price. Place is very clean and the host very nice. Old fashioned sweet decor with wooden panels on the wall. Free wifi, cable and fridge also provided. Make sure to reserve online as it is often fully booked.

Good location. Not fancy but very clean with lots of hot water for shower. Wi-Fi works well. Beds are comfortable.
The Hillcrest has some issues, but one must take price into consideration, i could see room for many improvements. Saying that, the rooms were big with kitchen facilities in the room, the management is very new, and Kashish was extremely helpful to us as we had a special situation. Location in St John did not matter as everything in St John is only a 15minute drive. i can see work going on in the motel so i am sure they will improve. For the price do not expect the world, and if you are used to five star locations you will be sadly disappointed. it does seem people whom think they are five star traveller on a 2 star budget would be the one whom complain.
